Some of you may be aware that unfortunately Regis Mutual Management Limited (as outsourced Managers of FRIC) has faced severe challenges since being placed into Administration in June 2022. This has put a lot of pressure on diminishing Regis resources and curtailed a lot of activity whilst the future of the firm, its staff and clients were worked out.
However, I am pleased to advise that as of 1 August 2022 FRIC’s management services contract and existing service team will be transferred to new provider Thomas Miller https://www.thomasmiller.com. Transition is now underway with target completion 31/08/22. Thomas Miller is an established manager of mutuals and FRIC will benefit from the strength and depth of their offering.
Despite these challenges over recent weeks FRIC remains in great shape and a great option for Fire and Rescue Services Insurance moving forward. Throughout this period FRIC continued to operate successfully and is keen to move forward with the new mutual management service provider by the end of August 2022 and welcome new fire and rescue service members to on-board.
