Computer Aided Despatch (CAD) and Integrated Communications Control System (ICCS) Supplier Engagement Day April 2023
Following the first session in December 2022, the procurement hub committed to assisting the sector with developing outcomes-based requirements.
This session aimed to provide guidance and advice on how to ensure your CAD/ICCS requirements are developed in such a way as to encourage innovative and competitive responses from a limited supply market.
This session is the second in what will be a continuing series of events between the Fire Sector and the CAD/ICCS control room solution market, which we have agreed to ensure are run more frequently than the bi-annual events previously discussed. We hope to therefore run future events quarterly to maintain momentum and ongoing communications between all parties.
As such, we are excited to confirm that it was agreed that the next session shall be focussed on developing effective tenders and contracts that encourage innovation and continuous improvements in this space – and will be lead by our supply market colleagues. Please keep an eye out for dates for this future event which will take place in the Summer.
