Changes to Guidance on UKCA Marking
On the 20th of June 2022 the Government published easements to the previous guidance on UKCA implementation. The Government publication was general guidance and covered the range of manufactured goods which moved from the CE to the UKCA and UKNI regimes.
The main change in that guidance was the ability to use CE credentials as the basis for demonstrating UKCA compliance.
Sector specific guidance for PPE, has now been published, with the main amendments being made to section 9 and 10 of the Regulations :
