The EU tendering thresholds under the existing PCR 2015 regulations are reviewed every 2 years and the Government have reviewed them again pending the introduction of the new Procurement Regulations in 2023 (as summarised in the attached document from Mohamed Hans at CIPFA).
The thresholds that mainly apply to the Fire sector are hi-lighted in yellow.
The biggest change is that all thresholds in the past have excluded VAT, whereas the Government have chosen to quote the new thresholds including VAT. In real terms the thresholds have reduced which means that more procurement exercises will need to be advertised from 01 Jan 2022.
